Back to Dean Hall

Based on phone calls and online sales, my instincts tell me this show may sell out by Thursday. I’m not swearing to it, but I just thought we’d give our favorite patrons a heads up.

Dean Hall is considered by many knowledgeable folks to be the hottest blues rock artist in Music City and he is being featured on CMT’s new hit series "MuzikMafia TV". The Muzik Mafia is a tough one to explain. Basically, it’s a musicians’ collective. In 2004, Mafia members Gretchen Wilson and Big and Rich broke out with two of the biggest selling albums of the year and won tons of awards. Dean is Gretchen’s guitarist and will be playing with her at the Super Bowl before heading out for a world tour.

Maybe you saw Darren Sweeney’s excellent article in the News Advance last week. If not here’s the link. It’s worth checking out.

Here are some reviews on Dean:

To pass up a chance to see Dean Hall and The Loose Eels is temporary insanity." Salt Magazine / Muscle Shoals, AL

100,000 volts of raw energy! His high energy sound makes you want to get out of your seat and party like mad." - Nashville Music Guide / Nashville, TN

Hall plays music like rocking blues is supposed to be played. He hits like a pro linebacker and leads his band like an infantry top sergeant machine-gunner.... He has a distinct guitar sound of his own and a strong vocal to match with his own signature blues scream. Dean's originals contain great hooks, lyrics, melodies, and music...." - Music City Blues / Nashville, TN

Dean Hall and The Loose Eels whipped the crowd into a half maddened, glass eyed Pabst Blue Ribbon drinking craze with his balls to the wall full throttle rockin' blues...the performance reached a full tilt whirling dervish of epic proportions, as Dean and the band let loose both barrels on the packed house." - Enigma / Chattanooga, TN

Oh yeah, one last thing, Dean is bringing fellow Muzik Mafia member “Max on Sax.” Max is a ’95 Heritage High School graduate who began his musical career on the Ellington stage with Main Street Rhythm and Blues.

Alright, one more last thing: Check out MuzikMafia TV on CMT where you’ll see Dean, Max, Gretchen, Big & Rich and the rest of the traveling freak show. It’s playing all week and it’s a stone cold hoot. You can find the schedule at http://www.cmt.com/shows/dyn//muzikmafia_tv/series_showtimes.jhtml

Don’t ever change; we love you just the way you are.
